The government M1911 was developed by a competition request from the military that required several revisions before the first prototype was accepted in 1910. Since the birth of the M1911, it has developed an outstanding reputation and has increased in popularity.
The M1911 has been used effectively in numerous wars and by civil law enforcement officers as well as border patrol. This die cast replica is features a smooth barrel and U.S. wooden grips.
