This uniquely engraved replica pistol is an exact replica of the 1861 Navy revolver used by General Custer during the Civil War. This General Custer Revolver looks and acts exactly like the original used by the general himself.
The wolf's head design on both side of the hammer was one of many unbelievable touches added to the revolver by the famed 19th Century engraver L.D. Nimschke. This replica is exact in every detail, it even includes the craftsman's guide, the letter “P”, which was placed adjacent to the serial number, calling for special handling so this weapon could be custom plated. The beautiful grip offers a unique eagle and shield design. The checkered patterning on both sides are perfectly restored to cover the area that was blotted out by the personalization plate.
This is a true collectors item with end to end quality that will not disappoint.
