Item #:

An intimidating piece of ancient weaponry, the battle axe fits the bill. The use of battle axes have been recorded as early as the 8th century. Commonly used in close hand to hand combat, they could be operated with either one or both hands.

This collectible replica Viking battle axe has a 33 inch wooden handle and has an antique grey blade. The blade, while sinister looking, features detailed design with a curved hook. This design was probably used to hook opponents shields, thus leaving them defenseless.

Weighing a mere 6 pounds it would look great mounted on any mid-evil fanatics wall.
