Oda Nobunaga was a major Daimyo during the Sengoku period of Japanese history. Son of Oda Nobuhide, a minor warlord with meager land holding in Owari Province. Nobunaga lived a life of continuous military conquest to eventually conquer most of Japan before his untimely death in 1582.
This awesome collectible sword features the crest of this great ruler which also includes a crystal display stand and title card with story. The sword measures 40 inches overall and 38.5 inches without the scabbard. The blade is made out of carbon steel measuring 27.5 inches long. The handle is cord wrapped which features an oxidized copper tsuba with an embossed image of the ruler.
Comes complete with sword, scabbard and bag. All in a cardboard box.
