The Ryumon Practical Samurai Sword Katana has a forged and folded AISI 1060 carbon steel blade. Heat treated with traditional process to produce an extremely sharp edge. Each sword in this series utilizes a one piece brass construction blade collar that enables the blade to fit securely in to the scababrd. Three round tsuba designs are available in this series with gun metal finish. The scabbard is done in deep black lacquer and tied with imported japanese cotton sageo The Handle is wrapped with authentic ray skin and imported japanes cotton ito. This samurai sword is 42" overall and has a blade length of 28".
Each sword comes complete with hang tag, a silk sword bag, a cleaning kit and certificate of authenticity all packaged in a lacquered wooden box.
