Part of Masahiro's Historical Replica Series, the "D" katana is hand forged by master craftsmen from Longquan, China using 1060 carbon steel, exactly as the other swords in this series. This extremely sharp blade includes a 1 piece brass construction habaki, authentic rayskin wraps the tsuka, and an antique bronze tsuba. The ito and sageo are made from woven Japanese cotton and the saya sports a deep black lacquer. A cotton sword bag is included with this blade for extra protection.
