The chemise is worn under all gowns, and bodice and skirts -- like a medieval slip. Chemises absorb the body's soils and leave less wear and tear on the outer garment which was usually more expensive. The chemise still does the same job today.
Ours are made from the same soft cotton muslin used to back baby quilts. Made of 100% cotton muslin and machine washable, this chemise with a drawstring neckline has very full and long sleeves with metallic trim sewn down the sleeves. One size fits all.
Due to the nature of special occasion clothing, all sales are considered final. Unworn items in original condition may be exchanged for another size within 2 days of receipt. Defective items will be replaced if returned in unworn condition
within 2 days of receipt. This does not mean we have to receive it within 2 days, but you must call us for an RA# (Return Authorization) within 2 business days. To protect yourself, please
inspect your items when you receive them and should you find an error, defect, or other problem please notify us immediately so we can correct it!
