Measuring 42" overall, the handmade Zatoichi shikomizue is one of the nicest swords we have come across in some time. Equipped with a 29" mirror polished carbon steel blade and manufactured using a full tang construction method, this sword is fully functional for combat applications. The Blind Swordsman's sword is well balanced and lightweight making it wonderful for quick sword maneuvers. Traditional Samurai construction is evident when viewing the Yokote and thin practical Mune. Covered with a semi gloss black wooden scabbard and adorned with the unique marked handle.
