Dragon is not the first thought one has upon sight of this sword, but the name is drawn from the wreathed dragon that appears on the top band of the scabbard. The sword itself is starkly pure in design, bearing a cross-decorated coin pommel, black leather-wrapped handle and smoothly curved guard. The spear-form double-edged blade shines without adornment. This is the sword we can imagine St. George using to slay a dragon.
