During the well known Medieval era, everyone carried a preferred method of defense. For many, this weapon was typically a sword or a cross bow. Not everyone was lucky enough to have the money or goods to trade for these much preferred weapons, so the lower class often had to make do with the weapons they could afford, the most common being a dirk. This Celtic Dirk with Damascus Blade is an elaborately detailed example of this type of weapon. This piece measures 17 1/3 inches in total length. The 11 1/2 inch blade features an unusually roughed surface and half of the blade features a saw tooth edge. The handle is short and sturdy, with a design that is ergonomically friendly.
This piece includes a mini knife and fork set as well as matching scabbard.
